The thought behind this work is to sensitize the recipient for the subject of temporary work by means of a feeling of foreignness. It is not thought to point out drawbacks, but represent temporary work with abstract ways of usual, everyday life activities.

On the 16th of october twelve employees of a Dresden temporary work company and thirteen employees of a temporary work company from Leipzig set tables for 1500 participants of a seminar followed by a banquet of the society for Galvano and surface technology during a total of twelve hours.
Leipzig fair halls served as a venue. Depending which company they belonged to, the temporary workers earned a wage of 8.50€ or 8.84€ per hour.

The workers didn’t have any information about the job until they got to the venue. A large part of the temporary workers described their task as „mechanical“.
